“… I sent my sons to get the rubble outside our flat. More than partially demolished, especially the Western walls and the walls of the guest room and the hall. Thieves left nothing to us, including all of our furniture, doors and clothes… etc.
The Park [Barcelona Park] isn’t a park anymore.
No water in the building, and thieves also stole the water taps, pipes.
The sewage system is also broken. Life is miserable in Gaza.
I am waiting with my wife and two daughters in the refugees camp in the South, for a few days, hoping that we can find clean water, to wash.
[The Massoud family is a very normal family in Gaza. Not religious, not militants. He is a higly respected teacher in university. They used to have a small garden, not close to their flat, which was their joy and pride. We don’t know what’s become of it, it has probably been razed by tanks].
